Some 800 young people in the West African country of Mali are learning basic anatomy and health principles along with teamwork and leadership skills through a project that uses sports to fight the spread of HIV/AIDS.

Beatrice Lospa never imagined a nationwide initiative to make reading the Bible attractive and accessible to every Romanian would be so popular.

“Knowing how to read does you no good if you’ve never read the Bible,” the Sola Scriptura advertisements on billboards and bus stops read. This one, situated on a main street in Bucharest, targets a well-read crowd.
